Playing with Body Shop Make Up
I have always been a fan of the Body Shop products they have amazing body creams, hand creams and all sorts of sprays. Growing up in London there were Body Shops on every high street. However I never really tried out their make up I always looked at it but didn’t give a test. Until I met the MD for Clicks Group and he organised for me to go to the Waterfront Store in Cape Town and I was shown all the make up and all the other new and improved products. I was converted on the spot and wanted to take everything home with me.
The make up really is very good with moisturising textures and feel amazing on the skin. I got my hands on the foundation, BB Cream and some lipsticks to play around with.
The All-in-1 BB cream is is a universal shade and is colour correcting once applied to the skin. Pigment filled capsules burst when applied onto the skin, releasing the colour inside.
I gave it a little tester to see if it actually worked my face is paler than my body but it really does match your skin and gives a beautiful glow as well:
The Colour Crush lipsticks are very high in moisture and give a beautiful pop of colour and are infused with a subtle rose scent. I tested out the red which is shade 101. It glides on beautifully and really feels great on your lips there is nothing worse when lipstick dries out on the lips.
Lastly I tested out the Moisture Foundation with SPF 15 is light weight with a light to medium coverage. I applied with my fingers but to build up coverage use a buffing brush. I love this foundation it feels amazing on the skin and comined with the BB cream I loved how my skin looked with a dewy finish but not too shiney.
The shade of the foundation is a little too light for me as I have a tan so added some bronzer to contour and add so more colour. But overall I really love this foundation and would definitely recommend. I did get another foundation but its way too light so I will test out on a model and revert back to you all. Go get yourself to a Body Shop store and get busy trying.
