Pops of Colour at NYFW SS16
Love love love the pops of colour at the first SS15 shows at New York fashion week. Normally we see a lot of graphic eyes, loads of no makeup makeup and all sorts of smokey eyes but also this season we are seeing lots of colour.
Am totally obsessed with the green eyes from the Monique LHuiller show its a different take on the liner on the eyes with the square edging that looks very cool and very modern and the choice of green is amazing.
Its always fun to play with colour but it also needs to be wearable if you want to work a makeup trend. I absolutely love the pink/purple liner at the bottom of the eye its a great way to work the trend without being too bold and definitely a great one for festival season.
The look for the Jenny Packham show is definitely one of my favourites with the gorgeous pale blue liner and the orange lips. Its not normally colours we wouldn’t think of putting together but looks so beautiful and totally wearable.
The Diane Von Furstenburg look is stunning with a mix of teal and green on the eyes with flawless fresh looking skin and clear gloss lips. Perfect for a weekend, a holiday look or a pretty night time look.
Green is definitely a big colour for SS16 and strangely ebough I love the yellow and green mixed together seen in the Guilleta show.
