korean skincare

After reading a Korean skincare post from fellow bloggers All Dolled Up I decided to test a couple things and see what all the hype is about. Now I am all about any skincare that is hydrating and at the moment my main concern is my under eye area. I find this are gets the most dehydrated esecially when I am tired and thats when the fine lines appear. So on that note I ordered some eye patches from Glow Theory. Due to late delivery they threw in one of their Coconut Milk sheet masks. What I can say after testing these out these products I want to try so many more.

I have been testing out both the Heimish Hydrogel Eye Patch in Bulgarian Rose Water  (60 pieces for R285) and the Tony Moly Panda Dream Eye Patch (R35 each). The Heimish eye patches are super thin hydrogel patches that are shaped especially for the under eye area. You can do in the morning as part of your routine, or if your skin is feeling dehydrated and tired these patches are a great pick me up. The multi purpose patches help brighten the skin as well as hydrate and leaves skin feeling super soft.

The key ingredient here is the Bulgarian Rose Water which is full with vitamins and minerals, plus hydrating and inflammatory properties. The unique hydrogel patches allows the product to fully absorb into the skin. Not only can you use under your eyes but you can apply any where on the skin especially if you have frown and smiling lines. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The Tony Moly Panda Dream Eye Patch helps minimise dark circles as well as hydratye at the same time. They are super cute patches that look like panda eyes which means my daughter was trying to get hold of them too. The patches help heal and nourish the delicate area under the eyes. With Vitamin B3 and Bamboo Shoot Extract help enhance elasticity and moisture helping plump the skin and say BYE BYE to fine lines. While the brightening power house Niacinamide brightens and reduces dark circles.

Last night I tested out the Coconut Milk Sheet Mask (R35) that is for moisturising skin. They have 7 different sheet masks for different skin concerns whether its brightening or smoothing there is something here for everyone. This mask is amazing and was seriously soaked with product so you get some serious moisturising happening. I applied just before I went to bed last night for 20 minutes and really my skin never felt so good. Plus I woke up with such soft skin this morning. Next up am ordering the strawberry and white milk sheet masks at at R35 each you can’t go wrong here.

Now I have had a little tester I am going to be buying a few more products so watch this space. There are a few more sites in SA that sell Koren Skincare but Glow Theory looks like they have the largest selection. Check out K-Beauty and Korean Beauty sites as they also stock some different brands as well. Definitely worth investing for amazing looking skin.
