We all know how I feel French skincare I absolutely love it no doubt about that. I have become more obsessed with skincare as I have gotten older. Plus being a makeup artist I always want the models to have their skin looking the absolute best. I have added in some favs from Nuxe Skincare into my kit and have also been testing out on me too of course. If you don’t know anything about the brand its all about awakening your senses. Nuxe is well known for its iconic Dry Oil and some amazing skincare too.
The Nuxe range is massive there is so much to choose from and I am def going to try out more. Luckily I got my hands on the oil and the lip balm plus the Anti Ageing Serum which I love. My model’s skin have never felt better once I massage this bad boy in.
So here are 3 Nuxe fav’s that are definitely worthy checking out:
The Nuxe Reve de Miel (R220 ) is a honey lip balm ultra nourishing and repairing. I find my lips and actually most of the men and women I work with struggle with dry lips. I like this one as it hydrates but doesn’t leave any shine to the lips. The honey and precioius oils help soothe dry lips and actually keep them hydrated. Made with all the good stuff like beeswax, shea butter, almond oil and calendula. So if your lips are super dry after using this for a couple days your lips will flakey no more. All these amazing ingredients help keep lips at their optimum hydration level. Making this balm a cult product for the brand.
The Nuxe Nuxellence Youth and Radiance Revealing Anti-Aging Care serum (R795) is a definite winner for me. Infused with active ingredients like passionflower and hyaluronic acid, this creamy serum promises to smooth, replump and illuminate skin instantly. Once applied the skin feels and looks amazing. For me its all about hydrating and getting that glow on the complexion this does just that.
So basically the Nuxe’s technology has about 10 unique patents. The source of the serum is mitochondria, which helps keep our skin regenerating. As you all know as we get older our cells don’t renew the same way. So we need skincare to help this process. The Nuxe serum help’s target the skin’s mitochondria to increase cell’s energy production. Which means brighter, softer and younger looking skin.
I love that its a pop up bottle so no oxygen gets inside those active ingredients plus it despenses exactly what you need. You don’t need much and its super creamy. It literally glides onto the skin giving a glow that I love. Its a hands up yes from me.
There are 2 dry oils in the Nuxe range this one is the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Shimmer Dry Oil (R385). I still need to try the cult all purpose dry oil so watch this space for that. The shimmer oil is gorgeous on application and you can see my skin has a gorgeous glow. This oil basically provides your skin with nourishment for your body, face and hair.
Formulated with six precious plant oils – macadamia, hazelnut, borage, sweet almond, camellia and St John’s wort, this oil is bursting with softening and reparative powers. It quickly absorbed into the skin leaving no oily skin at all. Its got a the gorgeous Nuxe’s iconic scent of orange blossoms, light florals, coconut milk and leaves skin so soft and silky.
The Nuxe dry shimmer oil is perfect to use after being in the sun plus gives a more radiant and healthy appearance. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Available in SA at woolworths and selected online stores you definitely need to give the brand a try.
