Stila Colour Balm Lipstick Review
I really do love Stila makeup and if you bave been watching any of my beauty video’s then you will know I love the natural eye palette and the glosses. I was sent the new Stila Colour Balm Lipstick and luckily I was able to chose which shade I wanted so I went for Ruby which is a red lipstick, purely because I love red lipstick’s for myself and am always looking to add red’s to my make up kit. There are 10 shades available in South Africa and can be found at certain Woolworths and Truworths ranging from nude’s, pink’s, orange, purple and the Ruby Red.
I love the packaging and even before trying on the lipstick you can see that its going to be really hydrating. A lot of lipsticks dry the lips but this one doesn’t. I absolutely love it so much so that I featured it in one of my make up tutorials. My lips looked full, glowing and really soft. Even after having a drink it was still on my lips. What I also like about it is that it doesn’t stain and can be easily removed.
The lipstick promises the full pigmentation of a lipstick but with the nourishing properties of a lip balm. It has certain properties that make the lipstick really hydrating and it also has a cooling peppermint oil which makes your lips tingle hence making them look fuller. Most balms don’t give as much coverage but this lipstick balm as you can see has amazing coverage and colour intensity.
For my video I created the look below with the Ruby Stila lipstick. It was all about key steps to making the skin seem brighter and looking more awake (as I always look tired) . There is nothing like a bright lipstick to make your skin seem brighter and fresh. I would definitely reccomend purchasing this lipstick, it’s a bit more costly than your drugstore lipsticks but a little cheaper than the high end brands and retails in South Africa at R210. I can’t wait to try out the other colours.
The video will be up by the end of the week so stay tuned.
Hope you enjoyed my post. x
