Yesterday I filmed a video with Elle magazine to chat about the new La Mer launches and see what a typical day for me is between being a makup artist and a blogger. Even though I have a tan going on at the moment I still felt tired and needed a pick me up for my look and what better way to do it than with a bold lip. I kept my makeup look really clean focusing on my skin, lashes and lips.
I am currently interviewing a few people in the beauty industry about their favourite products and it got me thinking to what are my favourite beauty products of all time. There really are loads I love but I broke it down to a few that really have wowed me and I would buy again and again whether its for myself or for a shoot. So here is the list I complied of some of my all time beauty favourite picks:
I test out so many brands and products all the time whether its on myself or on models when I am on a shoot. Some I love but still move on to try other products but some I have to go out and buy for myself for my personal stash. There were to makeup products that I have loved for myself and needed to repurchase on my trip overseas the Chanel Les Beiges Foundation and the Benefit Boo-ing Concealer.
Anything Chanel launching I am always excited and when the delivery man comes with a box from Chanel my day has literally been made especially since the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation is finally here. If you don't know anything about the Les Beiges line its all about healthy glowing skin which started out with powders and then some gorgeous bronzers and now the foundation is being added to the family. For those of you based in SA its heading your way on the 19th Feb so you better put that date in the diary if you want to go test this one out. There are 12 shades in the collection so hopefully there is one for you, it comes in a 30ml pump bottle and retails at R785.
This week has been a week full of so many new products, launches, beauty shoots, a whole load of lipstick and more. I am so excites about all the products that I have gotten my hands on and what more is to come next year its going to be a great 2016. As always I share the highlights of my week in one post:
