Decleor Hydra Floral Multi Protection Expert Mask
Decleor Paris is an amazing French brand and has been around forever. What is really great that amazing brands are coming to South Africa and this particular brand can be found at Woolworths and Truworths. Decleor have recently launched their new innovative Hydra Floral range consisting of 4 products as well as its first BB cream which I can’t wait to try. I luckily got to chose a product to try out and on a recommendation from Vicky their PR contact I went for the Mask.
The mask promises to be ultra moisturising and plumping as it contains “quick break technology” which means that is changes from a hydrating cream to a powerful plumping, wrinkle-smoothing silk veil. Sounds amazing!I tested the mask a couple nights ago, it says use once or twice a week so it will definitely last a while. I only needed to use a little bit to cover my whole face. When it comes out of the tube its a cream and you have to massage it into your skin including your eye area until it turns into an oil then leave for 10 minutes. The mask is really light on your skin which I really like as some masks are heavy and take forever to clean off. This mask is different beacuse you can either remove it with the Decleor toner or pat away the excess with a tissue, I took the excess off with a tissue. My skin was left feeling silky smooth and even my husband made a comment how nice my skin looked! Plus I didn’t have to apply my night cream as this mask lasts 24 hrs and I felt I didn’t need to.
The range consists of the mask, moisturising creams and the new BB cream. They are priced pretty well ranging from R330 to R535 and after using the mask I definitely think its worth it.
Check out the video on the new range.
Hope you enjoy the post.
I really do love Stila makeup and if you bave been watching any of my beauty video’s then you will know I love the natural eye palette and the glosses. I was sent the new Stila Colour Balm Lipstick and luckily I was able to chose which shade I wanted so I went for Ruby which is a red lipstick, purely because I love red lipstick’s for myself and am always looking to add red’s to my make up kit. There are 10 shades available in South Africa and can be found at certain Woolworths and Truworths ranging from nude’s, pink’s, orange, purple and the Ruby Red.
I love the packaging and even before trying on the lipstick you can see that its going to be really hydrating. A lot of lipsticks dry the lips but this one doesn’t. I absolutely love it so much so that I featured it in one of my make up tutorials. My lips looked full, glowing and really soft. Even after having a drink it was still on my lips. What I also like about it is that it doesn’t stain and can be easily removed.
The lipstick promises the full pigmentation of a lipstick but with the nourishing properties of a lip balm. It has certain properties that make the lipstick really hydrating and it also has a cooling peppermint oil which makes your lips tingle hence making them look fuller. Most balms don’t give as much coverage but this lipstick balm as you can see has amazing coverage and colour intensity.
For my video I created the look below with the Ruby Stila lipstick. It was all about key steps to making the skin seem brighter and looking more awake (as I always look tired) . There is nothing like a bright lipstick to make your skin seem brighter and fresh. I would definitely reccomend purchasing this lipstick, it’s a bit more costly than your drugstore lipsticks but a little cheaper than the high end brands and retails in South Africa at R210. I can’t wait to try out the other colours.
The video will be up by the end of the week so stay tuned.
Hope you enjoyed my post. x
