Nude nails are always a trend and when we think nude we thing of shades that have a touch of brown to them especially tan, light pinks and caramel shades but sometimes is cool to use an alternate nude shade that isn’t too bold, really quite subtle but works beautifully. On a few shoots the client has asked for nude and instead of going for the expected nude I like to use light grey’s, mauve’s and purple/grey shades that look amazing on.
My first week back at work after three amazing weeks off and its been a week of no makeup makeup and fresh beautiful skin. So here is the highlights of my week packed into one post for you:
Mani Monday: Rimmel 60 Seconds Let’s Get Nude
I am always on the hunt for a nude polish because I find my clients are always asking for a nude especially when there is a lot going on with the clothes or the makeup is strong.
I picked up the new Rimmel 60 Seconds Let’s Get Nude polish and I love it. Its a slightly camel nude shade after 2 coats, the applicator is so easy to use and I love the fact that it dries really quickly.
Its definitely a polish that will suit a lot of skin tones and I will be adding this to my pro kit for sure and for R59 you really can’t go wrong.
I have been shooting all week for various magazines and the brief for the nails every day has been a nude nail. In the last few months its been a bright nail but the trend is definitely the nude nail at the moment. Remember not all nude shades will suit you so see if there is a tester in the shop first that you can try out.
I have gone for the Rimmel 60 seconds in Caramel Cupcake:
The nude nail is perfect for day time, with work wear and even if you are going to a party especially if you have gone with a bright red lip or a smokey eye, a nude lip and a nude nail looks beautiful.
Brands like Essie, Mavala, Nails Inc have a great selection of nude nails and Michael Kors new make up collection includes the sporty range which has a beautiful nude shade.
Hope you enjoyed my post.
