A while back I did hair and makeup for local SA designer Tamara Cherie for her SS17/18 collection. Its definitely her best collection yet with gorgeous colours and materials and a whole lot of sequin. Of course being the shopaholic and absolutely love fasion I had to buy a few pieces from the collection. Now I am one of those people that needs a lot of tops for all occasions. I think I have lots count on how mant I have but you need for all occassions whether casual or dressy. What I love about Tamara’s collection is you can mix it up and either be really smart or dress it down with a pair of jeans or denim skirt. Click here to see her latest range.
The top is really simple in its design but I fell in love with the sequin design. Its a combo of white and navy of which blue is my favourite colour. In this shoot I wanted to show how it can be worn for day time perfect for a lunch date. I matched it with my jeans and little blue bag. Here I wore my loafers but you can totally amp it up with a gorgeous pair of heels if you nedd to be a little more smart. Alternativaley this top would look amazing with smart pants to create a beautiful work look.
The little bag is from one of my favourite designers Tory Birch. I hit London every year during the summer sales and stock up on bags. You can never have enough right?
This is how we shot the top but instead of jeans Tamara paired it with a denim skirt and an amazing pair if earrings she made herself. Its gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
