If you are obsessed with highlighers like I am then you will try find a way to get your hands on the Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Palette. What’s better than gorgeous glowing skin? The way to achieve that is with a great highlighter and that’s why I literally have about 20 in my kit (no jokes). So when I found out about the bar of gold palette well of course I bought it. When it comes to highlighting Charlotte Tilbury has got it down.
You know a product is seriously good when its literally always sold out. Yes you can find loads of highlighters on the market that are considerably cheaper but are they as better?? Do they contain pure gold particles like the bar of gold?
Charlotte has gone from just offering the gold bar to a whole palette with these 3 gorgeous shades. The Original Gold (same as her original Gold Bar), Rose Gold (a soft rosy blush tone) and Gold Bullion (a deep sun-kissed bronze). The lightest starting from left to right. They are highly pigmented and with one swipe you get amazing radiant skin. Like the original, all three shades of the “wet powder” are formulated to offer a lit-from-within glow and a soft-focus effect on imperfections, creating a sculpted, lifted look.
Apply all 3 on your cheek bones, cupids bow, and along your décolletage you can create a gorgeous radiant glow. Also make sure you apply on the bridge of your nose to help define and add a gorgeous glow with the reflective pearls. You can work the shades on your eyes and work the lighter shades on your brow bone and inner corner of your eyes. You can even work the highlighter over your lipstick to even add radiance to your lips. Its definitely got so many uses.
Once you have contoured your face you really see the highlighter pop. The highlighter glides onto the skin so beautifully and it feels so silky to the touch. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
