One of my fave brands has bought out a limited edition and thrown in some extra goodies for the lips. The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Limited Edition Collection packaging is absolutely stunning. The brand has collaborated with acclaimed illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli. They have created a bold, graphic statement on both The Original Skin Protectant, as well as the Lip Protectant Sticks Sheer Tints. Love the packaging and loving the new lip tints.

Olimpia Zagnoli loves the cult 8HR cream as much as we all do. She explained “This collaboration was an opportunity to reinterpret a classic. For someone who works with symbols everyday, it’s like having the chance to transform the Eiffel Tower of beauty.”

Of course we all know the cult product the Eight Hour Cream that you will see lots of makeup artists have in their makeup stash. Its got so many different uses and I am much happier that the new cream is fragrance free. I have often used the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on shoots to create the gloss to the skin. Its a great way to cheat the glow.

Lips are kept so hydrated with its combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses and vitamin E.

I love glow and thats really what I am all about for myself and the models I work with. There are so many different ways to cheat the glow and the Eight Hour Cream is goodie when it comes to glowing skin. I love to apply to the top of the cheek bones, it gives the skin a glossy look without all the shimmer of a highlighter.

Adding the balm to the lids is also a another great trick. You can apply straight to the lids or over a long wearing eyeshadow to really add that extra gloss. Its a great trick I love to do on a photoshoot.

The Eight Hour Cream can also be used to keep cuticles hydrated and sooth dry hands, protect skin from harsh elements especially if the skin has gotten sun burnt, refresh skin after flying, shape brows, apply to dry elbows as well as knees and toes.

The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick Sheer Tint SPF 15 (R235) comes in 3 shades. I absolutely love them all but my fav for me personally is the Cabernet as it really works for my skin tone. Plus it really has a great colour pay off. The Rose shade is a super light pink and the Coral has a subtle orange colour to it. I have the origional lip balm in my pro makeup kit as its so hydrating. The sheer tints will be a great addition to my kit as they can add as a lip balm with a stain for the darker shade.

Available in selected Woolworths, Foschini, Edgars and Red Square stores.

Love Love Love
