Introducing the Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Ageing Foundation that is brand new to the Prevage family. The Prevage range is kmon for its high end skincare. So its exciting that they have now added a foundation to the range. It landed on my desk last week with a new serum and moisturiser so a total spoil. I was very excited to try the foundation and yesterday was the first opportunity I got to test it. Anything anti-ageing is always winner for me as I am trying everything to make sure that my skin stays as youthful as possible.

So what did I think?

The Elizabeth Arden Prevage Anti-Ageing Foundation is super light on application and my skin feels like it can really breath. Skin looks like skin which is what I love and its perfectly dewy. Of course you can always build up coverage using the foundation brush and a lighter coverage with your fingers. Here I used a brush to apply and I am suyper happy with the finish. The only con for me is its slighly fragranced but actually after application you can’t smell it after about half an hr.

The foundation has a unique antioxidant complex that protects the skin from the environment and diminish visible ageing signs. Vitamin C  and key anti ageing ingredients that boosts the skin’s own natural collagen and increasing the skin’s elasticity, which firms up the skin. Moisture rich hydra pigments to even the skin tone and give a luminous finish. Of course if you want the foundation to last the distance you will need a primer and a finshing powder.

There are 7 shades from fair to medium skin tone but sadly no offerings for the darker complexions. The shade I am wearing is 6 and at first I was worried that it may be too light but it matches me perfectly. As well as giving me a flawless complexion and has great skincare benefits it also has an SPF of 30. Personally I love a foundation that has all the skincare benefits its just an added bonus to my beauty routine.

The foundation retails at R650 for a 30ml bottle and the brush at R395. I like the brush as it has a heart shape that makes it easy to get into all the places and the smaller end to work around the nose area and apply your concealer with as well.

Definitely a thumbs up from me.
