The makeup at the NYFW SS17 show’s is very simple this year with a few key trends standing out and the most popular trend seems to be eyeliner. The eyeliner makeup trend at NYFW SS17 is nothing graphic just simple looks that we could all re-create at home. Its got a feeling of a bit of undone grunge that was popular in the 90’s and makeup is kept super fresh and lips totally nude. All you need is some lip balm or Elizabeth Arden 8HR cream and you are good to go.
The Narcisco Rodriguez show the models have liner that has been applied from the outer corner of the bottom lash line to the centre of the eye and then just blended out. So simple with groomed brows and practically no makeup on the face. Its definitely a saeson of good skincare and barely there base.
At the Carolina Herrera show the gel liner has been applied on the top and bottom lash with a thin line on the top and a small flick. Nothing like some of the graphic looks we have seen in the past. Simplicity is the key for this look with a fresh face and subtle contouring.
For the Oscar De La Renta show the gel liner has been applied top and bottom but not going all along the eye its been applied in the middle but not reaching out to the inner or outer corner of the eyes. Its definitely a different way to wear liner but actually looks really modern. Skin is super dewy here and nails are white with a touch of bling.
The Rag and Bone show makeup its just kohl eyeliner that been applied on the top and bottom lashes that looks undone and a little on the grungy side. Simple and easy to do and I love it.
