The gorgeous Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Lipsticks landed on my desk last week and boy are they pretty. I am definitely  a Chanel girl though and though and when it comes to the lippies I can’t get enough. I got to test out the 3 new beautiful shades of which one is the Rouge Allure Ink Fusion the pink/red shade and the gold and berry shade are the Allure Ink. All gorgeous quality that look so pretty on and are so easy to apply. I love the lipstick packaging with the frosted glass case that just feels really luxurious.

Now the Rouge Allure Ink are not new to Chanel but there are new shades that have been launched. They are matte lipsticks but not as intense as the fusion lippies. They are weightless and super comfortable and don’t make lips dry out at all. I love the applicators as they have a slight bend so makes it really easy to apply without making any mess.

First up the the Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Metallic Beige no 202 is this beautiful light gold shade. If you follow me on insta stories you can go the Chanel lips folder and see them in action. This shade really compliments the whole glowing look that I love. I don’t normally wear metallic lipsticks but I think I need to invest in a few. The effect is gorgeous and perfect for the summer months coming up. There is also a metallic bronze and red in the collection so yes please to that.

This shade is Rouge Allure Ink in Harmonie no 224 its a pretty matte berry shade. Its a perfect one for all year round and really works with my 90’s makeup eye. I did find that just one coat wasn’t enough but really pretty on.

There are 12 beautiful shades in the Rouge Allure Ink collection 6 are metallic and 6 are matte shades. There is literally something here for everyone and the metallic is just super cool on.

I love the new Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Fusion described as a “second skin” intense matte liquid lip. The lipstick starts off looking glossy but actually quickly turns to matte. Super comfortable to wear with a beautiful colour pay off. The texture has a lip infusing ink which is a clever blend of polymers and gel, that glides over the lips plus is smudge proof.  Enriched with soft oils and looks so pretty on. Again 12 shades in the collection from your nude, pink, red to plum perfect for every skin tone.

Chanel do say that these matte lipsticks last a few hours but for me that wasn’t the case. The finish is matte but I did have to reapply every so often. I am fine with that as the ones that do last really dry the lips out and that is not comfortable for me at all. I rather have a matte finish that’s comfortable and one I am happy to wear every day.

Available in selected Edgars and Woolworths stores now retailing at R645. Pricey but oh so pretty.
