I have been wanting to chat about I bought this palette a month ago in Sephora because its gorgeous. So I decided to incorporate the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette and create a pretty easy makeup look. I love the matt and shimmer shades that are perfect for totally brightening up your complexion. Its great for lighter to medium skin tones taking your look from day to night.

So here is a step by step of what I used to create the look:

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette

From the desert dusk palette I used the peach Eden shade for the base applied with my Zoeva blending brush. Then with a flat brush I applied the shimmer shade Blood Moon on my lid for the extra pop.

Check Huda in her video showcasing the palette and some of the different looks you can create.

For lashes I applied my trusty Maybelline mascara the Colossal Volum’ Express to give them some life!!!

For highlighting remember all you key areas especially your cupids bow for the extra pop on your lips. For this look I used my Mac Cream base in Shell. Its got a rose gold feel to it and is super pretty on.

For my cheeks I wanted to match my eyes so used the latest Chanel blush Joues Contraste in Foschia Rosa. Its really bold so I dusked off the excess before applying and toned down with my fingers. For my contouring I used the Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Everyday Perfection Bouncy Makeup powder in Hazelnut.

For my lips I wanted to keep it nude because my eyes are already pretty bold. Here I used the Mii Power Matte Lip Creme in Eternity 1.

Its so easy to create and really adds great colour to my complexion. The nude lip doesn’t take away from the eye at all but justcreally compliments it. I am paler than normal so the Chanel blush really adds that extra pop to my cheeks making everything seem warmer.

The Huda Desert Dusk Palette is available in SA there are different prices on different sites the cheapest I found was here.

Next week will be a Winter makeup look with a dark lip.

Happy Friday.
