June favourites

Seriously where did June go? Each month I share products I am loving and this month there are some really great products in the list. Not all are available in SA some have been purchased on my current overseas trip but just had to include. So here are the favourites:

Clarins Extra Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream: I have been using this cleanser for quite some time and I wanted to wait till I had given it a good go. I love it, its one of those cleansers that is so hydrating for the skin and gives me healthy and fresh feeling skin. Enriched with extracts of purifying Moranga and Shea and mango restoring the skin’s purity and radiance. There is a special way to apply so click on the link for ther step by step guide, trust me its worth it.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser: This is one product I have been wanting to try for quite some time as it hasn’t hit SA yet so of course it was one of the first products on my list to get in London. The latest trend in the beauty industry is products that create that blur effect so that you can’t see those fine lines as well as makeup staying on longer. Its a very light serum that has a matt effect but I found compared to some other brands it wasn’t as matt and even though my skin feels smooth it doesn’t feel dry like some of the blurring products or matt primers I have tried plus I love the price so basically its a winner all around.

Bobbi brown Stick Foundation: If you haven’t heard the stick foundation from Bobbi Brown has been reinvented then you need to check it out. The foundation now has an innovative transparent base plus skin tone correct pigments, its such a light formula and once applied skin is evened out and looks so natural. Basically its now for all skin tones and new shades have been added. Its been one of my go to foundations for myself since I bought it and I am loving it.

L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes So Couture: The latest in the L’Oreal family of mascara’s  launching this month in SA. I have to say I love this one. Its one of those mascara’s that you can build up to create beautiful full lashes for my sad non exsitent ones. I have been applying 2/3 coats to get those wow lashes and I like it as it doesn’t smudge like some wands do and doesn’t clump. Its got an ultra precise couture brush with 408 bristles that gets into all the lashes. So if you want to be trending with lashings of mascara try this bad boy.

Charlotte Tilbury Ibiza Beach Stick: My latest purchase that has to be included in June’s favourites. Its a great little stick that you can pop in your bag and apply to create that healthy looking glow to contour and apply to lips. The other shades can be used at a blusher but I like the Ibiza shade as its perfect for making your skin look bronzed and beautiful. They are not cheap but I just love the packaging and I love Charlotte Tilbury makeup.

L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Foundation: These foundations hit my desk in early June and I have been testing out and wearing during the day and on nights out. Its got great coverage for a liquid foundation and really evens out the skin tone making you look fresh and awake which I always need due to never getting enough sleep. The foundation has a new hydrating hyaluron complex which helps the foundation stay fresh for longer.

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream: Love love love this cream, its one of those products that is a skincare with a makeup element to it. Don’t be fooled when you squeeze out the cream as it comes out white but when you apply it has a tint so don’t apply to much at once. If you are a no makeup makeup kind of girl this miracle cream is for you as once applied skin looks better and healthier because of the slight tint. What I am also loving about the cream is that it has anti ageing properties so its a win win either way.
