Mac is just one of those brands that just has all the bits you need for your pro kit. Even though I love loads of makeup brands Mac has some key items that are a must for my pro kit. I will definitely be posting my top Mac products soon but this post is about my repurchases that I can’t live without.
Sadly my Mac warm neutrals palette disappeared so I had to go buy a new one because its literally my go to eyeshadow palette for that neutral every day look for every skin tone. Its a mixture of matt’s and shimmers with Saddle being one of my fav shades for contouring and shading as well as creating that 70’s makeup vibe. When it comes to the darker models I love Dark Brew its a brown shade with a subtle shimmer that is perfect for that natural look. Of course Amber Lights and Divine Decadence are amazing for recreating that bronze summer makeup and butterfudge is perfect for the paler skintone for that every day look. Happiness that I have been reunited with the palette so I am good to go for my Glamour editorial shoot today.
When it comes to prepping my model’s skin I absolutely love the Mac Lightful C Marine Bright Serum and since its finished I have been sad without it. Yesterday was the first time I could get to a Mac store and buy a new one. The serum adds that extra glow and hydration to the complexion so when I come to applying base the makeup looks amazing. Infused with the marine bright formula and super duo charged water the serum moistens and plumps the complexion leaving nothing but radiance. LOVE
The Mac Prep and Prime Fix + spray has a few of uses which makes it so popular. Firstly its great to prep skin before applying makeup adding another layer of hydration. Its perfect for setting makeup as well as refreshing it during the day to give back that dewy look that you started off with in the morning. Plus if you find that some of your paint pots or fluid line’s have dried out spritz some of this bad boy to revitalise the product so you can use again.
