The Morning After Pamper
Had a late night and feeling not at your best? Drank too much? Then Sunday is the perfect day for a pamper and inject some life back into you and just basically make yourself feel good. So here is my take on the morning after pamper:
The Shower Pamper: I can spend ages in a hot shower after I have had a late night beacuse there is nothing nicer than feeling clean. Dove have launched their new range Purely Pampering and this Cream Oil Bourishing Body Wash will leave your skin feeling so soft and smelling amazing. Infused with caring oils and a touch of jasmine and honey you won’t want to get out of the shower in a hurry.
The Hair Mask: Philip Kingsley’s Elasticiser is a mask that you can’t apply if you in a hurry so your morning after pampering is perfect. This is the royal treatment for your hair, apply and leave in for 20 minutes before washing hair and you will have beautiful strenthened shining locks.
The Face Mask: Love this mask and all you need after a night of drinking and dancing is to get rid of all those impurities in the skin. The Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Peel and Reveal is perfect for this, apply and leave for 15-20 minutes and let this bad boy do its work and then peel off leaving fresh and beautifully clean skin ready for the rest of your beauty routine.
The Hair Oil: After washing your hair all you want is some shiney locks the Lee Stafford Nourishing Miracle Oil will add some moisture back into your locks.
The Skin Mist: Need to freshen up your skin after you have done your mask and basically bring back that glow I am loving Eminence Neroli Age Corrective Hydrating Mist (sadly not available in the SA). Its a collagen boosting toner with a natural retinol alternative and swiss green apple stem cells. The Face Gel: The Clarins Hydra Quench cream Gel is an ultra moisturing gel that is supposed to be used when you have been in the sun but let’s face it you have been out drinking and sweating profusely dancing the night away I think the skin needs a bit of this to add back some moisture into the skin.With active ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid to ensure long lasting moisture, Katafray Extract to reinforce the skin and prevent dehydration, Sobier Bud Extract to reinforce the skins hydration and radiance, Pomegrante Extract to tighten pores, Apline Willow Herb Extract which helps reduce excess shine on the skin and Clarins exclusive anti pollution complex to protect the skin from the harmful effects of the environment.
The Moisturiser: Love the Khiels Skin Rescuer is an anti stress moisturiser so your skin has taken a beating and now it needs some love. Formulated with Rosa Gallica Botanical Extract and Mannose protects the skin, enriched with Chamomile to help sooth the skin and basically moisturises and balances the skin.
The Skin Booster: The Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is an old favourite of mine is perfect to add some radiance in a flash to tired looking skin. You can even use as a facial mask if you want so it has double value. A great way to pick up your skin making you feeling amazing. With soothing Bobisabolol to help restore the skin’s youthful glow, and Olive and Witch Hazel Extracts to smooth the skin’s surface. Its all about brightening and tightening in a flash!
The Lip Scrub: Got dry lips and want to add the moisture back in, the Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub because mainly I love the smell and because it just refreshes the lips. Made with refreshing Peppermint Oil to help soothe lips and Sweet Vanilla Extract to lock in moisture.
The Hand Cream: The Sorbet Spa Hand Spa Escape Nourish Hand and Nail Cream is enriched with seaweed, complex rich in vitamins like Tangerine to give your hands a Vitamin C boost, minerals and Shea Butter to help put some love back in your hands.
The Nail Polish: Your ultimate Sunday Pamper has to finish off with painting your nails and I am loving the latest edition to Chanel part of the Summer 2014 collection launching this month. Its the 619 Pink Tonic and will add some colour to your hands.
