Sadly the Queens Plate has come and gone it was too much fun and can’t wait till next year. For those of you who dfon’t what the event is its a horse racing event where the theme is blue and white. I got a gorgeous dress from Zara a couple months ago as it was perfect for the event and I themed my accessories with the dress so blue all the way thanks to Kaika Jewellery and the amazing Ashiana brand.

queens plate 1IĀ used a range of palettes but the key shade I used on my lids was Mythology by Mac which is a gorgeous rusty red shade to make my brown eyes pop and just chnage it up feom the usual chocolate or bronze. I really wanted a bright lip but my hubbie is never a fan as he gets no kisses!!!

For the skin I mixed it up a little and combined Mac Face and Body and a little Smashbox Liquid Halo foundation for more coverage on the areas I needed, concealed with Benefit Boi ing and highlighted using the Benefit Watts Up highlighter to just give a pretty sheer shimmer on the top of my cheek bones. I gave my skin a sun kissed glow with my favourited Two Faced Bonjour Soleil palette and lips just finished off with a Chanel gloss so as not to take away from the eyes.Queens Plate 2Video tutorials will start again next week as I am busy working on a big job so please let me know what looks you would like to see?
