I am definitely a lover of all things fashion and the great thing with my job is that I get to do hair and makeup and be surrounded by fashion all day long. I recently did the hair and makeup for Thalia Strates look book shoot and I fell in love with her hand made hand bags on the spot. Thalia has brought out her latest collection of super cool bags that you can order to how you want and mix and match.
The shoot was really simple I kept Catherine’s hair simple but just giving a hint of a wave to her hair adding some texture and for the makeup kept it so simple using Dermalogica skincare to prep her skin and then used my trusty Mac Mineralise Moisture foundation for that dewy finish. I kept the eyes neutral using my Mac warm neutrals palette using the butterfudge shade on the lids and on the bottom lash line. For contouring I used Benefit bronzer Hoola and a touch of peach on the cheeks uisng one of the Revlon blushers. Lips I kept nude using a peach lipstick from one of my Mac lip palettes but try one of the new Rimmel nudes if you are looking for that barely there makeup.
