Shahnaz Loves Beauty

So I have wanted to start sharing with my readers what’;s in makeup bags of beauty editors and bloggers and here is the first instalment from the lovely Juana the beauty editor at Cosmo SA. Here is what she loves and what she can’t live without:

I always try and keep my makeup bag simple and not overcrowded. I’m not sure it’s working… I’m a bit of a lipstick hoarder. So, I stick to essentials, but also have a few items that will save me if I have an unexpected client meeting or beauty launch. Here’s what I currently in my makeup bag:

1) Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume
I am blonde and it’s not natural, so I am a big dry shampoo fan. This little guy is great to carry around and use for touch ups and a bit of lift when I need it.

2) Chanel No5 Eau Premiere
Those who know me, know my love for everything Chanel can not be put into words. At the moment I am wearing Eau Premiere, a version of the classic No5 (that I also adore and keep for very special occasions).

3) YSL Touche Eclat
When I’m tired and stressed it shows under my eyes, so Touche Eclat is one of my favourite and trusted brighteners, especially if I am in a hurry (most days). I also like to use it as a highlighter, so I’ll blend it onto top of my cheekbones, down the center of my nose and cupid’s bow.

4 Blotteratti by Beauty Blender
Genius blotting solution form the clever people at Beauty Blender. The blotting sponges are shaped like teardrops so they work with the contours of your face and I love them.

5) Tangle Teezer
You NEED a Tangle Teezer in your life. This one was the Shawn The Sheep limited edition and I carry it around with me.

6) Sensai Total Finish Foundation
This is the one makeup product I buy over and over again. It’s a pressed powder foundation that gives great coverage without being cakey or drying. I love using

7) MAC Lipsticks:
Dark Side (dark plum) from last year’s Christmas collection. I’m having a purple moment…
Charlotte Olympia For MAC in Retro Rouge, also a limited edition, and I fell in love with this rusty, wine red.
Marquise D’ is a pretty nude that is a staple and super versatile. Everyone needs a nude that works with their skin tone.

8) Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil
Lip oils are fantastic if you hate sticky lipgloss formulas. This one from Clarins has smells amazing and I love the hint of colour.

9) Chanel Rouge Allure Ink in Seduisant
This liquid matte lipstick is everything. It glides one and settles to a comfortable matte texture with solid full coverage. You need this, trust me.

10) The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Hand Cream
I go through a lot of hand cream. I have one in my bag, one in my car, one in my husbands car… You get me.

The makeup bag: My Chanel makeup bag was a gift from a very special friend that I won’t name here, but she knows who she is.
